Gopalsamy hills is a awesome place a nice temple in the most picturistic spot, midst the grass lands and ever green sholas , on the top you can see the Kabini evergreen sholas and Bandipur sanctuary to your left, we went for a small trek...

Bangithapal is originally called as benki thapal, it was the only path linking Karnataka, Tamilnadu and Kerala, during British days. The post used to be carried on horse back and the thapal was sorted using fire in this spot, hence the name benki thapal(Kannada). It is a Protected national Park and the scenery is wonderful. The trek route starts from here and ends up in silent valley, it is a 3 day Trek route.

Kariyan shola is the Heart of Topslip it houses a wide no species, The well known species specific to Topslip are The Ceylon frog mouthed Owl, The great Indian Hornbill. Ever green forest Tortoise.
